Create Group Blocks by Room Number per date "Very Important"

We need to be able to book group blocks on a "daily basis" by "room number". Currently, we can create a group block by room type and choose how many of each type we want in the block per day. Can we please get that same option for creating group blocks by room number? This is extremely important for us, we book a lot of large groups and weddings and not everyone wants and/or can stay for the entire duration of the block. As an example "if the photographer calls and only wants to book a room for the night of the wedding, my only option is to remove a lodge room from the wedding block". This is because it will not allow me to book for less than the amount of days the group block is built. In addition, we have another corporate group that are basically staying for 4 days, however some of their guests would like to come in a day early and some leaving a day late. Even though the current system will allow you to extend the days of their stay there is no way to add some units for days prior and some after departure because we cannot choose the room numbers by dates to create the group hold. Unfortunately, if we do not block the additional units we more than likely will not have any additional days vacant for them to reserve outside the block.
