Save Reservation without exiting the reservation

It is very annoying that you have to say OK to save your reservation - but then it kicks you out of the reservation. There should be a SAVE option and a SAVE & EXIT option. When you go in to make a change on a reservation that is not for the same day - you make the change, say OK and it bumps you out of it. And sometimes it DOES NOT show up on your recent reservations screen - which means you have to remember the name of what you were changing in order to go back and find. it. Not helpful and extremely frustrating.
