It is extremely disappointing that there is not a function to omit specific folios from the auto-post function. At my hotel, we charge a nightly parking fee, and we are only able to auto-post the first night because if we select the "Post this transaction every night at the auto-post", it will post to every folio and some reservations have negotiated no parking fees. We have many long-term stays, group blocks, and corporate agreements that allow free parking. Since we do not have this function, we have to manually post each night, which can be easy to miss or inaccurately post.
You can setup the parking fee as a package (Setup > Config > Reservations > Special Packages) so you can then add it to the reservation and/or folios that should be charged and it will then auto-post to those folios nightly with the auto-post.
Alternatively, you can setup the parking fee to auto-post during checking (Setup > Config > Guest Ledger) and choose the options to prompt before applying at checkin and to post nightly during the auto-post. This way when a guest checks in, staff simply selects if the parking fee should apply and if they choose yes, it will auto-post nightly.
